Ce thème est un peu spécial. Pour 2 raisons. D’abord c’est le premier thème qui est plus destiné aux utilisatrices qu’aux utilisateurs d’ubuntu (encore que…)
Ensuite, c’est le premier thème que l’on m’a commandé, pour l’anniversaire d’Ellanna… le nom du thème était donc tout trouvé!

Ce thème comprend:

Le fond d’écran
Un thème GTK
Un thème Metacity
Le pack d’icones basé sur « Humanity »

Licence

Ce thème est mise à disposition sous licence CC-GNU GPL version 2.0 ou ultérieure

- Si vous avez déja configuré les dépots bisigi, il vous suffit de cliquer sur ce bouton après avoir mis à jour les sources :

(ou entrez cette commande dans un terminal: sudo aptitude install ellanna-theme)

- Sinon rendez vous sur la page « installation » ici:

Bravo, c’est magnifique.
J’avais déjà essayé de personnaliser le thème d’une amie qui le voulait plus « rose », plus fille, et je n’étais arrivé qu’à un résultat haché, hideux.
Félicitations donc pour ce thème qui manquait, qui est fin et soigné, j’ai l’impression que maintenant cette collection est complète. (:
Et bon anniversaire Ellanna.

One comment… I have an small monitor, because of that I prefer to place the panel vertically. With the current theme I get a cluttered ugly image.
Is there any possibility to get the gif background in vertical for that panel placement?

I heard about your site through the Linux Tree blog; you have some really slick themes! I want to respectfully point something out, though, since you seem cool enough to listen.

People don’t think about this stuff much, but have you ever noticed that if an item is labeled for-females, it’s almost always pink & vice-versa, while stuff labeled for guys appears in all other colors? Or that it’s usually like a 1:10 at best balance?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never managed to figure out just what that logically implies… All women love pink, no men do? (All « real » ones, like Pinnocchio?) All non-pink items are for guys? If it was just « most » of each, then I’d expect at least some exceptions. Are the non-female-labeled items for guys, since it’s how gender labels in our society normally work? Or are they unisex to reflect that women like all colors too; if so, why label one color but no others?

Hope I haven’t offended you — I didn’t mean to pick on you, suggest there’s anything wrong with a woman loving pink, or with dedicating a pink theme to one who does.

Don’t worry, i’m not offended. I think it’s the description of the Ellanna theme can be confusing. I won’t say that women only like only pink.
All my themes are unisex, of course. The ellanna theme was a command to match with a pink laptop, which was a gift for a woman. So I’ve tried to do something coherent with the laptop color.
But I didn’t want to say that all women like this color. But pink is a color that theme creators doesn’t use… so i’ve tried to do it… for men and women who like pink.
In the theme’s description, i haven’t write « i made this theme for a woman » because it’s a little bit confusing…
I hope i haven’t hurt you with this reductive vision suggested by the theme description.

les versions intrepid ne sont plus maintenues. Le mieux c’est soit d’installer les dépots pour jaunty, soit d’utiliser les sources pour jaunty ici

si vous avez installé le theme, vous pouvez le trouver dans le dossier /usr/share/backgrounds.
sinon en utilisant les sources ici: https://launchpad.net/~bisigi/+archive/ppa/+files/ellanna-theme_1.4.0.lucid.ppa2.tar.gz
