Ce Thème est dédié a mon environnement de bureau préféré: Gnome. Je l’ai appelé « Step into Freedom ». C’est l’un des slogan qui avait été proposé pour faire la promotion de Gnome en 2006.
L’un des principaux reproches fait à Gnome, c’est l’aspect un peu « vieux » qu’il revoit par défaut. J’ai donc chercher par ce thème a améliorer un peu la qualité du rendu de Gnome, tout en conservant la philosophie du projet gnome : simplicité….

- 1 Thème GTK basé sur Clearlooks
- 1 Thème metacity
- 1 Pack d’icones

- Si vous avez déja configuré les dépots bisigi, il vous suffit de cliquer sur ce bouton après avoir mis à jour les sources :
(ou entrez cette commande dans un terminal: sudo aptitude install step-into-freedom-theme)
- Sinon rendez vous sur la page « installation » ici :

I’ve HAD IT with these themes! I’ve done EVERYTHING you have asked including the commands, having a look and implementing the installation page.. but it just won’t work! Ubuntu just keeps letting me that it found « nothing for <insert.theme.file.name.here> »
Screw it. I’m happy with ClearLooks.

You have to go to software sources and make sure everything is checked. I was having that same problem til i did that. Now they work and look great!
