This theme is dedicated to my favorite desktop environnement: GNOME. I call it “Step into Freedom”.

I tried to keep the philosophy of the GNOME project

It includes:

  • 2 “Step into Freedom” wallpapers (for 4/3 and 16/10 screens)
  • A GDM theme
  • A GTK theme based on Clearlooks
  • A metacity theme
  • An icons pack

Packages made by beudbeud.

This theme is licensed under the CC-GNU GPL version 2.0 or later.

Installation

- If the bisigi repository is already installed you just have to click here (after refreshing sources) :


(or enter this command in a terminal:  sudo aptitude install step-into-freedom-theme)

    I’ve HAD IT with these themes! I’ve done EVERYTHING you have asked including the commands, having a look and implementing the installation page.. but it just won’t work! Ubuntu just keeps letting me that it found “nothing for <insert.theme.file.name.here>”
    Screw it. I’m happy with ClearLooks.

    Excelente trabajo, me baje todos los tema y son BUENISIMOS. La instalaciòn se hizo perfectamente, la documentaciòn esta muy clara: Felicitaciones.

    You have to go to software sources and make sure everything is checked. I was having that same problem til i did that. Now they work and look great!
